Diablo Services, although a relatively new company, the owner Steven Sigurdson has been in the entertainment industry for over 15 years with experience in Lighting, Sound, Pyrotechnics, DJ Services and Photography.

Stevens experience took him into the clubs where he was in charge of lighting and learned to DJ from some of the top DJs in Vancouver BC. After playing in some of the top clubs and pubs in the lower mainland and Kamloops for 7 years, Steven decided to start working for some of the top DJ companies in Vancouver BC, where he learned the business. With about 8 years providing entertainment for weddings, private parties fundraisers and school dances Steven ventured out on his own and started Diablo Services. With all of his own equipment and knowledge, Diablo Services can provide a rocking party or create a nice quiet atmosphere for any event.

Along with DJing,  Steven has been an amateur photographer for over 16 years. Given his first professional SLR Film camera at the young age of 15 learned the ins and outs of how a camera works by taking classes in school and just going out and playing with his cameras. With his main interest in outdoor landscapes, he started to shoot other types of subjects. Sports  animals, kids, people, to recently working with models and shooting weddings. Stevens approach is always enjoyable and fun. By trying to capture the essence of the day and also the candid moments we all have. While the times have changed from Film to Digital,  Steven has kept up to date and uses with professional equipment.

In addition to djing and photography, at the age of 18 ,Steven was certified through Energy Mines and Resources Canada and Celebration Fireworks to supervise and display pyrotechnic shows ranging from weddings to large outdoor events to sporting events. Some of the shows he has worked on, are the Canada Day Festivities on White Rock Beach, where he has been lighting up the skies for 7 years. Steven has also been involved in providing special effects for the BC Lions, Vancouver Canadians and Super Motocross. Including working on numerous weddings, multicultural shows and raves. Steven was also asked to supervise the Pyrotechnics for Motley Crue while they were on their western Canadian tour.

Steven did an amazing job and definitely kept the crowd happy through out the night playing all the requests. He even went as far to get everyone up and do the YMCA!! Great times had by all and he made my wedding day a great success. Thanks again!

Steven did such an amazing job at our reception, playing all the right music at the right time. He had everyone on the dance floor, even my grandpa was shacking it. Our guests and I couldn't have asked for a better DJ. Because of Steven our reception was completly PERFECT!! Thanks for a fantastic job
