Diablo Services is owned and operated by Steven Sigurdson, Steven has been in the entertainment industry for over 16 years with experience in Lighting, Sound, Pyrotechnics, DJ Services and Photography. Stevens gained experience in the night clubs through out the lower mainland where he started out being in charge of the lighting and learned to DJ from some of the top DJ's in Vancouver BC. After 7 years playing in some of the top clubs and pubs in the Lower Mainland and Kamloops BC, Steven decided to start working for some of the DJ companies in Vancouver, where he learned the business of mobile companies. With about 8 years providing entertainment for weddings, private parties fundraisers and school dances Steven ventured out on his own and started Diablo Services in 2006. With all of his own equipment and knowledge, Diablo Services can provide a rocking party that will last right till the final dance or create a nice quiet atmosphere that you can enjoy and will remember. Given his first professional SLR Film camera at the young age of 15 he learned the ins and outs of how a camera works by taking classes in school and just going out and playing with his cameras. With his main interest being outdoor landscapes, he started to broaden his horizons and shoot other types of subjects, which included sports animals children, and more recently started working with models and shooting weddings. Stevens approach is always enjoyable and fun, by trying to capture the moments we all cherish and the candid moments that we all have. While the times have changed from Film to Digital, Steven has kept up to date and uses professional equipment. In addition to DJing and Photography, Steven was certified through Energy Mines and Resources Canada at the age of 18. Steven partnered up with Celebration Fireworks to supervise and display pyrotechnic shows ranging from weddings, large outdoor events and sporting events. Some of the shows he has worked on, are the Canada Day Festivities on White Rock Beach, where he has been lighting up the skies for 10 years. Steven has also been involved in providing special effects for the BC Lions, Vancouver Canadians and Super Motocross. Including working on numerous weddings, multicultural shows and raves.
